A provider’s Hosting Horizon Score is calculated automatically from approved user reviews. Each review rates five criteria (performance, reliability, pricing, support and features). Every criterion starts from a neutral baseline, so a handful of reviews can’t swing a score, and newer reviews count more than older ones. The same formula applies to every provider and can’t be bought. How Hosting Horizon Score works
Hosting Horizon is free to use. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change Hosting Horizon Scores, which come from user reviews only. Providers that offer our readers an exclusive coupon may be featured at the top of our lists, labeled Exclusive Deal. Read our advertising disclosure
Website.com is a Canada-based website builder company, with its builder platform launched in 2012, offering drag-and-drop site creation alongside bundled web hosting and basic marketing tools. There are 6 website builder plans ranging from a free tier up to about $25/month, with a free domain included on some paid plans, plus 3 email hosting plans from about $1/month to $5/month. Even the free website builder tier includes e-commerce tools, and the platform supports building sites in more than 180 languages.
All infrastructure runs from a single data center in Vancouver, Canada. Support is available through live chat, phone, email, a knowledge base, and video, a fairly wide set of channels for a website builder platform. Orders are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, and payment is accepted via credit card or PayPal. Website.com is designed for beginners, small businesses, and portfolio or storefront sites that want a quick, code-free way to launch, rather than customers looking for traditional shared, VPS, or dedicated hosting.
