Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies and Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files a website can ask your browser to store, then read back on later visits. Local storage works similarly but is generally used for slightly larger pieces of information that stay in your browser rather than being sent with every request. Both are standard web technologies, and most browsers give you tools to view, block, or delete them.

What Hosting Horizon Stores

Hosting Horizon keeps the list short. We use browser local storage — not cookies — for two things of our own: remembering the cookie-and-tracking preference you choose in our consent banner, and remembering which coupon codes you've marked as “worked” or “didn't work” so we don't ask you to vote twice. Neither of these is used to build an advertising profile, and Hosting Horizon does not set any advertising cookies itself.
